Charges of Heresy aginst Doctor Amarria Darcest¶
Daison Kador [Section 8, Ministry of Internal Order]
YC106-08-27 15:06
I am Daison Kador, Special Services Section 8. This is notice that Special Services are taking over investigation of the events surrounding a terrorist plot to release a viral infection on the general population.
First and foremost, investigations and interrogations of parties has revealed a real threat to Amarr security and the Emperor's space. Several station managers have reported medical team quaratine and Amarr citizenry infection. Though these numbers currently are quite small, it is my learned opinion that we must not take the threats of these terrorists lightly.
Secondly, I am assigned to investigate the disappearance of Doctor Amarria Darcest last night from her Hedion Medical Lab. Her transmission was at first suspect, but later proven to be coded with her UID signature. That said:
Dr. Amarria Darcest disappeared into the Devoid Constellation, and her whereabouts are being sought.
Her own transmission is confession of heresy
Is the Emperor and the Chosen of God to believe that the virus is cured by its injection into Amarr citizenry, at the cost of perhaps ½ the citizenry? Is the Emperor and the Chosen of God to stand by as a doctor of our esteemed Hedion University proclaims that the Amarr are nothing more than any other race? Can the Amarr, as the Chosen of God, sit idle and let the terrorists go unpunished?
We are the Chosen, and God's power shines down on us because we are a superior race. Although humans entered the Eve Gate thousands of years ago, some of them were also the Chosen, superior and knowledgable in their faith. Mere blood chemistry is not the source of our faith.
Lastly, all Amarr are asked to provide information concerning the doctor's whereabouts to me in any manner that is most available to them. Her words are heresy, and her disappearance is suspect. I would hesitate to think that she was in collusion with the terrorists . . ..
She is Amarr, and charged with heresy for her words. She will be given the chance to answer these charges.
All fleet personnel and faithful, strong Amarrian corporations with the knowledge of their Chosen status are requested to assist in the location of the doctor. Find her or her ship.
Haratu
Too bad that I am on holiday starting tomorrow... I know that region like the back of my hand. I also have very good standing with the ministry in that region.
More than likely she fled to a remote, out of the way system like Ussad or Thakala. They are my guesses from my travels... people might want to follow that up.
Thakala is frequented by visitors more than Ussad (Ussad is more often visited by pirates and mission runners than anyone doing serious work), however Thakala has no Amarrian stations thereby providing many good hiding places for an Amarrian traitor.
However the clue she gives is the planet of amarrian history... ie. in Shastal. Technically this can not be the location because the 'city of god' was designed not to be land locked and so could not be the location she is refering to. There is no other such location in Devoid...
Someone can use this info to try to find her... i am going to sleep in preperation for the festivities tomorrow.
Mirial
As of the time of this message, my agents place her at Vard III - Six Kin Development Production Plant station in the Hed constellation of Heimatar region, not Devoid
Daison Kador [Section 8]
Thank you Haratu for your insight into the Devoid region. No doubt other good Amarrians will find it of use as well.
For All Amarri Interests:
Additionally, I have just been handed logs of the doctor's work at the Medical Lab. These logs are further proof of heresy. I am unable to relay all of the logs because of internal security matters, but these portions may provide further understanding of what the doctor believed to be true, despite being heretical.
". . . tests show a definate self-orientating genetic primacy, and anyone infected will survive if their bodies adapt to the chemical and genetic changes . . ."
". . . conclusive proof of Amarrian common heritage?"
". . . other races infected will also survive if their bodies adapt, however, the prime application is simply to remove vitoc poisoning permanently . . ."
". . . secondary complications in two Amarrian subjects reveal mental health respondance, one whose faith in God as cure was overwhelming, but died despite receiving the treatment, the other surviving but thankful to science . . ."
". . . Matari blood tests reveal less adaptive change requirements: meaning? Do the Matari maintain the same blood chemistry as our earliest common ancestors?"
". . . tests possibly indicate that Matari are the original ancestor stock."
Of Special Note:
Clone facility technicians have provided the status of the doctor's clone. Confirming her charges of heresy even further, the doctor has established a black-market clone. As you may know, these facilities often have equipment that radiates strong EM and Neural-Impulse wave lengths because of faulty shielding. Location agents may be reading that clone. Investigate personally. If the doctor is not in the station, and noted by the NeoCom UID locator system, then you are to report that so the Amarrian government can take action against the blackmarket facility.
Do not delay in your search. Read the doctor's transmitted confession for clues as to her whereabouts; she stated that she was heading to a site with strong Amarrian historical ties. It is imperative to not only locate her, but also her ship so that we might extract nav-coordinates and determine her last set of points. I have no doubt the doctor has changed ships a few times, but we must be persistent.
Transmit the information as best available.
Lastly, all but 10 doses of the treatment are accounted for, and those 90 Amarri subjects are recovering. If you should locate the doctor, attempt to determine the location of the remaining 10 doses and return them to the Hedion system, Chancellor's Bureau on escrow to me.
Khaldorn Murino [Lieutenant, FoM]
As his Rifter speeded through the system Khaldorn brought up the latest intercepted transmission from Amarr concerning this outbreak. One line caught his eye.

". . . prime application .. remove vitoc poisoning permanently . . ."
His head hurt, he was a warrior, not a scientist. But this Amarrian apparently knew more about this virus than anyone. And the amarrians where trying to kill her, damn they were an arrogant species. And if it was indeed a cure for Vitoc..
Hell it was still killing people. A cure that kills...
He opened a channel to command.

Commanders, please see attached transmission intelligence intercepted. Perhaps we should find this 'doctor' and enlist her aid in this endeavour. If the Amrrians find her first they will no doubt execute her for heresy. If this 'Scourge' can be contained and indeed used as a cure for Vitoc poisoning.. think of the ramifications.
I await your orders.

Khaldorn willed a comms channel to open to command.
I have taken a search of the City of God. Doctor was not found. Continuing search..
Khaldorn out.
Daison Kador [Section 8]
I am glad to report that, through my own personal efforts, I was able to locate the terrorist, Jesra in the Ezzara system in Devoid. A brief engagement saw her vessel destroyed, although only later did I learn she also had the doctor onboard as her prisoner. One can only hope that the doctor's blackmarket clone activated safely, although I have my doubts.
I located the doctor's ship as well, and was about to retrieve the last 10 doses of the treatment, but a Matari freedom fighter came out from warp and fired on me. He podded me, and of course against all reason, the Matari continued to fire. Such is the way of animals.
My clone activated just now, and I am reporting this to my faithful, Chosen of God. I give praise to those fellow Amarrians who were brave enough to at least attempt to respond to me calls for assistance, albiet in systems too far away to make the engagement.
The last 10 doses, specific to the Amarr race, are now in the hands of the Matari terrorists. This is a sad day for all of Amarr.

*** Transmission from "Matari Explorer", civilian courier ship ***
To: People's Republic of Minmatar High Council. We were able to find doctor Amarria Darcest's ship. Military units secured area. Ship and its cargo were secured. Doctor is probably dead. Military officer transported cargo to Minmatar ship and initiated auto-destruction of doctor's ship. We are heading towards HQ. Waiting for instructions.
Amarria Darcest [Hedion University Medical Lab]
Amarria still feels groggy, but the effects of activation are wearing off. The nurse, if that is what you want to call her, is in the next set of rooms, and Amarria sits up. A GalNet terminal sits idle, and she touches its panel.
"Open transmission to Medical Teams." She looks back to the other rooms, but the nurse is too far away.
"Specify," the voice requests.
"All Medical Teams. Now!"
"Standard relay transmission open."
"This is Doctor Amarria Darcest. I am reporting my findings to you in the hope you are able to utilize the information herein. Please do not listen to the words of the Amarr, Daison Kador. I am not a traitor. I was attempting to discover a way to neutralize the retrovirus, and was caught by Sect Warden forces near Ezzara VI."
Amarria leans against the wall, breathing is getting harder. The clone isn't going to survive. She had to do it, she knew, just in case she died before releasing the information -- and somewhere in a facility not far from Ezzara, and not operated under Amarr control.
The blackmarket facility reminded her of the stories of ancient torture chambers. Her breathing came as gasps.
"My findings . . . my findings are that radiating the doses provided by the Sect of the Warden with cesium 135 and cesium 156 neutralize the retrovirus sufficiently to pass mostly harmless from the system. Measure the dosage of radiation carefully, but of course you all know this. Reproduction of the treatment is a matter of incorporating cesium and gallium in 2 parts per million to a solution of 1/1000th retrovirus to saline. That will make enough doses for everyone in Eve and then some, if my calculations are correct."
She fell to her knees, keeping her voice low and hoping it was being recorded. "Ezzara is the planet Ardishapur bombarded after the uprising there. The Sect of the Warden claim that planet, I was sure of it. The Khumaaks aboard those . . . those deaths ships were their symbols."
Face pressed against the wall.
"I took the treatment pack to the planet, which is high in natural cesium. The Sect used the planet to provide the resources to alter this virus, and as always, such processes include their natural determinants. In this case, cesium."
Four breaths per minute now.
"It should be a . . . a simple matter to inject . . . all pilots via their neural inter . . interface . . . and spare the whole of Eve this disaster. All others can be normally . . .."
So very tired. Amarria lets her eyes close. Not even enough time to have purchased another clone . . ..
A moment passes, and the nurse enters. She looks down at the body, and shrugs. One out of two ain't bad, right? At least the other one is doing well. She always hated losing a clone. She called for the orderly to clear up the mess, and pulled the curtain surrounding the other clone.
The woman who stared back at her carried the facial mark of Degraded, and used to sport long blonde hair -- which the nurse had cut away because it had not grown in properly. Such a beautiful face, the nurse thought, for one of the shamed.
Oh well, she had paid for her clone just like anyone.
"How are we doing today?" The nurse said, always trying to sound enthusiastic. "It's a good thing you missed that one dying there while you were sleeping. I do hate when patients see others suffering. It's a terrible . . "
The Degraded was on her feet and rushing to the blinking NeoCom. She simply stepped over the Amarri's body and was tapping the interface. Too late the message the Amarri had recorded was already broadcast.
The Degraded's fist smashed the panel, and she slumped to the floor.
"Now, now, that's not very nice," the nurse said. "That will cost you for its replacement, but let's get that hand fixed up shall we? There's a good girl."

+++ BEGIN REPORT +++
To: FoM Command
cc: PRM High Council, MM Command.
Commanders. What follows is a report of my actions is the search for Doctor Amarria Darcest. Commander Zoolkhan authorised my actions and gave me a free hand in the hunt. After looking for the Doctor in various systems, i was tipped off after a man was reported in Amarr asking for amaari loyalists to head to ezzar to intercept the doctor. I set course for this system directly.
Upon entering this system i noted the presence of Jesra, the terroist who unleashed these events upon us.
The following is an abbreviated version of the comms channel local to the system. i will send the full copy to anyone who requires it.
[ 2004.08.27 19:37:23 ] Jesra > Stay from here, or suffer! We have her and her ship
[ 2004.08.27 19:38:17 ] Khaldorn Murino > Matari, what purpose these actions of yours?
[ 2004.08.27 19:38:43 ] Jesra > She trespassed here, and we will not tolerate an Amarr on sacred soil.
[ 2004.08.27 19:39:41 ] Khaldorn Murino > shes coming with me Matari.
[ 2004.08.27 19:39:50 ] Jesra > We have all that we wanted. You may have the ship and its package
[ 2004.08.27 19:39:53 ] Khaldorn Murino > if you are fit to call yourself that.
[ 2004.08.27 19:40:03 ] Khaldorn Murino > unleashing this plague upon innocents
[ 2004.08.27 19:40:11 ] Jesra > She is ours.
[ 2004.08.27 19:40:13 ] Khaldorn Murino > i cannot understand such an action, even if the cause is just
[ 2004.08.27 19:40:49 ] Jesra > The savior of the people is often a murderer for a time.
The Terroist had abducted the doctor from her ship and was making her way out of the system. During this time i had warped into local and locked the Matari, although i admit, i was hesitant to fire upon a brethren and she managed to escape me. Upon when the Amarrian Daison Kador entered the system. continue log
[ 2004.08.27 19:46:26 ] Daison Kador > Be gone from this system Matari. I will handle it from here.
[ 2004.08.27 19:46:27 ] Khaldorn Murino > Amarrian, leave this system, you will handle nothing
[ 2004.08.27 19:46:50 ] Daison Kador > Do not suppose to order me about. I am here to collect the doctor and any doses she may left.
[ 2004.08.27 19:46:55 ] Khaldorn Murino > you aim to kill the one person who might be able to save us from this disease.
[ 2004.08.27 19:47:21 ] Khaldorn Murino > such ignorance i cannot comprehend
Upon when the Amarrian came upon the terroist in her ship at the gate
[ 2004.08.27 19:47:44 ] Daison Kador > What is this? A Degraded attempting to escape through the gate!! Die as you deserve to!
[ 2004.08.27 19:48:00 ] Khaldorn Murino > Amarrian!
[ 2004.08.27 19:48:10 ] Jesra > The doctor is aboard. Do not fire or she will die too Amarri!
[ 2004.08.27 19:48:26 ] Daison Kador > So . . she is aboard. All the better.
[ 2004.08.27 19:48:44 ] Khaldorn Murino > Amrrian do not fire upon that vessel, i will warn you only once
[ 2004.08.27 19:49:39 ] Daison Kador > They will both die
[ 2004.08.27 19:49:47 ] Daison Kador > Both dead. Good.
I only managed to warp in to the gate just as the Amarrian had blown the terroists whip usunder. I can only assume the Doctors body was disintergrated in the expolosion. I noticed the terroists pod, but i was most concerend with the Amarrian, who had by this time warped out. I located him back at the Doctors ship.
[ 2004.08.27 19:50:03 ] Khaldorn Murino > damn you amarri!
[ 2004.08.27 19:50:21 ] Khaldorn Murino > give me one good reson why i should not blow you out of the sky now
[ 2004.08.27 19:51:12 ] Daison Kador > Foolish Matari. My fellow Amarrians are on their way
[ 2004.08.27 19:51:24 ] Khaldorn Murino > they will not save you
[ 2004.08.27 19:52:18 ] Daison Kador > Perhaps not, but they will save the remaining 10 doses onboard her ship.
[ 2004.08.27 19:52:49 ] Daison Kador > All for the Empire!
[ 2004.08.27 19:52:51 ] Khaldorn Murino > not if i have my way amarri
[ 2004.08.27 19:54:30 ] Khaldorn Murino > For Matar
At this point i had destroyed the Amarri, i apologise but rage might have over taken me. But special services did much injustice to our people, they are detested. And he killed the Matari and Doctor in cold blood. In my opnion, he deserved no less.
At this point brother Mar warped in for backup, and RageChild also entered the system. With the help of RageChild we retrieved that cargo (10 pieces of the retro-virus) and returned to Amarr. I am indebtted to both of these people for helping and ensuring safe transit of the package back to HQ with me.
The package is now at HQ, I am awaiting orders what to do with it. I had considered returning it to the Amarri for help with their sick, but i am but a soldier and it was not my place. And.. we have sick of our own.. but it might be... humane of us.
Awaiting Orders commanders. I apologise for not ...
..apprehending the terroists, i should have not shown hesitation. It will not happen again.
Khaldorn Out.

As usual, your encoding of reports is in need of security enhancements. I see that you provided a well documented report -- for an animal, but do not conceal the lies of your actions here Matari. Let us review the above "conversation" for the truth rather than these contrived lies!
[ 2004.08.27 19:47:44 ] Daison Kador > What is this? A Degraded attempting to escape through the gate!! Die as you deserve to!
[ 2004.08.27 19:48:00 ] Khaldorn Murino > Amarrian!
[ 2004.08.27 19:48:10 ] Jesra > I do not have your precious doctor aboard, so fire at me if you have the guts too filthy Amarri!
[ 2004.08.27 19:48:26 ] Daison Kador > So . . she is not aboard. What of the treatment package, slave?
[ 2004.08.27 19:48:44 ] Khaldorn Murino > Amrrian do not fire upon that vessel, i will warn you only once
[ 2004.08.27 19:49:15 ] Jesra > Retrieve them and go, or stay and be destroyed!
[ 2004.08.27 19:49:39 ] Daison Kador > I will do both. Prepare to die.
The Faithful and the Chosen of God have assisted me throughout all my life, and we are the Empire of Amarr. We do not lie, and have no need for deceit, unlike MinMatar. Do not conceal your hesitation to attack with your lies, Matari. They are easily seen through like water. It is apparent that this corrected version of events proves that charges should be placed on you for conspiracy to assist the heathen Sect of the Warden. You strived to protect them at all costs, and then lied and altered the conversation to cover your treason.
No doubt, your Republic will fail to bring charges against you. Again, such is the way of animals.
Sadly, it is true that the doctor was onboard and apparently destroyed. I admit to having killed her, but I did not know she was aboard. Thank God and the Emperor that her clone's report has saved us all from the madness brought about by heathen Matari Sects and their so-called 'freedom fighters.'
Unfortunately, you Matari have this treatment available to you. Your deaths will need to wait for more practical methods it seems . . ..
Lastly, although I honor her courage to help us, science is not a replacement for the faith of God. Special Services is questioning Dr. Darcest's family in connection with the charges of heresy. As Amarr, such things are understood and are accepted. This matter must be fully investigated. No doubt her heresy originated from somewhere, and the family is the source of consistency in any Amarrian life, loyal or heretical.
Khaldorn Murino [Lieutenant, FoM]
Lies Amarr, which can be seen plainly so.
I will not sit here and justify my words, i will leave it to my superiors to judge what is true.
It is fortunate that her clone activated, you would have been responsible for countless of your peoples deaths. I wonder could your Amarrian concious have handled that? Until we meet again Amarri.
